Bachelor of Business Administration is an integrated course that has seen a huge rise in demand in the past decade and is a leading choice of students who want to pursue a career in the field of management.

What is BBA?

BBA is a three-year professional course for students who want to pursue a career in the field of business and management. The course is so well designed that the students get theoretical and practical knowledge too. Theoretical subjects are backed by case studies and practical assignments so that students get a proper overview of how things work in the management and business field.


The course curriculum includes subjects of various departments like Marketing, Finance, Operations Management, Human Resources, International Business, etc.

Along with B.com, students can also pursue professional courses like Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, etc.


B.com proposes subjects like Economics, Company Laws, Industry and Labor Policies, Finance, Administration, Accountancy, Taxation, etc. These subjects provide in-depth knowledge about how these things work on the ground level and how laws and policies help in governing a business or a company.


A student from any stream (Science and Commerce only), who has completed his/her 10+2 with at least 50% marks is eligible for this course. Most of the universities give admissions on a merit basis only as there are no entrance exams conducted for this course.

B.com opens a lot of opportunities for the students unlike BBA, as it is directed towards management and business only, but B.com can help students to explore the avenues of Finance, Economic, and even Taxation. B.com has a broader perspective as the in-depth studies help the students acquire extensive knowledge. To pursue a career as Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, Certified Management Account, or Certified Financial Analyst it is mandatory that one completes his/her B.com. A B.com student can also pursue his/her masters in MBA which will help in growth immensely.
