Strategy to prepare for all MBA exams
Strategy to prepare for all MBA exams simultaneously
Is it possible to prepare for all the entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, CMAT, SNAP, SSC, BANK PO all at a time?
The answer to this is YES!!!!! All these are aptitude & GK.
Quant, Reasoning, Verbal is of basic level in exams like CMAT, CET, TISSNET, SNAP, BANK PO, etc. These tests are based on speed, one should always practice improving their accuracy and speed.
Whereas exams like CAT, XAT, NMAT, IIFT are application-based tests. The difficulty level of these exams is higher as compared to others. Hence along with basics, you need to improve your problem-solving ability, give lots of mock tests, etc
3 Months Strategy
Before starting with the entrance exam preparations you need to understand the paper pattern and brush up on your concepts by solving previous years’ question papers. If you are good at your concepts just clear your concepts and start giving mock tests
6 Months Strategy
If you find Verbal and Quant difficult then this job will be a little tough. Firstly you need to clear your concepts, and then only you can start with your mock tests. There are cases where 6 months will also not be enough to boost your confidence. Patience is the key here. So, you need to know where do you exactly stand and stop comparing yourself with others
Don’t compare yourself with others
Comparing yourself with others or trying to be better than others will just waste your time instead plan properly and give time to every component. Always enjoy your preparation, don’t work under pressure. It’s always better to make your timetable. Enroll with a good institute and work hard under a good tutor. You are the one who is responsible for your success, coaching institutes will just help you to reach your goals, hence maximum efforts should come from you
Mock Tests
Mock tests play a very important part in your preparation, critical exams like CAT need lots of preparation, 5 minutes of distraction can lead to a huge percentile drop and hence affect your margin.
Keep these points in mind:
- Give a maximum number of mock tests that will help you to understand the paper pattern.
- It will help you to know your strength and weakness.
Mock tests will increase your speed and efficiency that will help you to score well in exams
General Knowledge
GK is a very important part of this process. During the interview process, the interviewer can ask questions on General Knowledge and Current Affairs. You can have knowledge of current affairs by reading articles, newspapers, and other business magazines on daily basis, which will help you to improve your vocabulary skills and comprehension
