AILET - Introduction
- It will be conducted by the National Law University, Delhi. It is a national level entrance examination which is conducted once in every year.
- Through this exam, candidates can get admission in 1 year LL.M, 5 year B.A. LL.B. and Ph.D. programmes.

- To be able to attempt the law entrance examination for undergraduate programme, candidates must meet the following requirements of the AILET eligibility criteria 2020.
- He/ she must have completed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized institute. This will be considered as the qualifying examination for AILET 2020
- He/ she must secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in the qualifying examination
- Those who belong to reserved categories also need to score a minimum aggregate of 50% in the qualifying examination
- Those appearing for class XII boards or equivalent in the month of March / April 2020 are also eligible for AILET 2020
- There is no upper age limit to appear for AILET 2020.
- AILET 2020 eligibility criteria for postgraduate law programme (LLM)
- For those who wish to appear for the postgraduate entrance examination, the eligibility criteria of AILET 2020 is as follows
- He/ she must have an LL. B degree from an Institute recognized by the Bar Council of India
- The LL. B degree can be either a five-year integrated degree or a three-year degree.
- Applicants who belong to the General/ OBC category, the minimum aggregate in their qualifying examination should be at least 55 %

- Those appearing for the final examination of LL. B degree course in the month of March / April 2020 are also eligible for AILET 2020
- There is no upper age limit for AILET PG

AILET 2020 Exam Pattern
- The exam pattern of AILET 2020 was as follows
- The examination will be conducted in the offline mode
- The language of conduct will be English
- The examination is conducted for a duration of 1 hour 30 minutes
- List Item150 questions are asked for a total of 150 marks
- Question types asked is 'Objective type'
- Negative marking is applicable (One mark for correct answers and 0.25 will be deducted for every incorrect answer)
- Subjects for examination are English, General knowledge, legal aptitude, logical reasoning and elementary mathematics

AILET 2020 Application Form
- How to fill the AILET application form 2020?
- Click on the application link
- Now click on "AILET admission 2020".
- To register, click on "Create new account" option
- Enter your email Id and confirm the same
- Now fill in all the required details
- Click on "Create account"
- Check your details and click on "Confirm"
- To edit your details, click on "Change" and repeat the above steps to proceed.
- Select the course you want to apply for from the drop-down.
- Click on "Apply" now
- You will be redirected to the application locker
- Fill in the application form
- Upload the photograph and signature
- Check the form for errors
- Click on "Save incomplete form" to complete the form later or "Save/Continue to payment" to proceed to the payment gateway
- Pay the application form fee via credit card/ debit card/ net banking.
- Save a copy of the filled application form and payment challan

- Now enter your name, application number, course opted for and date of birth
- Click on "Submit"
- Your AILET 2020 admit card appears on the screen
- Check the details mentioned on the admit card of AILET
- Save a print copy of the admit card
AILET 2020 RESULT
- The National Law University Delhi will declare the result of AILET 2020 in online mode separately for BA LLB and LLM programs. AILET 2020 result for BA LLB program is generally released first (around the 4th week of May), followed by result for LLM program (around 2nd week of June).
- How to download AILET 2020 Result
- Go to the result portal
- A log-in window will open
- Select the course applied for admission
- Then enter name, roll number, application number, and date of birth
- On successful log-in, the AILET result 2020 would be displayed on screen
- Download and take a printout of the result

- AILET 2020 Counselling Process
- To be eligible for participation in AILET counselling 2020, the candidate needs to have qualified in AILET 2020 entrance exam
- All such qualified candidates will be issued counselling call letters, which the candidate has to download and get a printout of Further, admission officials will also make an AILET 2020 merit list for the purpose of seat allotment
- The candidate has to next attend the offline counselling venue along with the AILET 2020 counselling call letter and all essential documents as requested
- Exam officials will conduct a document verification process wherein the details shared by the candidate during application
- submission will be cross checked. If any candidate is found to be sharing false information, his/her candidature will be cancelled
- As per AILET 2020 merit rank of the candidate, he/she will be allowed to make a choice from the available options
- The candidate will be allotted seats as per their merit rank and also option opted for admission
