- The total number of questions was reduced to 76
- Duration of the CAT 2020 exam: 2 Hours which means that time per question is 1.6 minutes
- 40 Minutes for each section: VARC, DILR, and QA

- Overall the level of difficulty of CAT 2020 was moderate which was the same as CAT 19 and CAT 18
CAT 2020 Exam Analysis - Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
- The Verbal Ability section was slightly lengthy along with some tricky questions
- There were total 26 questions that were to be attempted in 40 minutes.

CAT 2020 Exam Analysis - Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation
- The DILR section was moderate to difficult.
- The total number of question in this section was 24 out of which there was 6 non-MCQ's.

CAT 2020 Exam Analysis - Quantitative Ability
- The Quantitative Ability section was similar to CAT 19 in terms of the level of difficulty.
