Pursue A Postgraduate Degree In Management like MBA

It becomes comparatively easy for a BBA student to pursue higher studies in management than for a student from another course. Since most of the general management topics are covered at graduation level, one can go for specialization in the subject of one’s choice. Those who wish to pursue an MBA degree will have to sit for Entrance Exams like CAT, MAT, GMAT, XAT, GRE, etc.

Pursue a career in the Corporate Sector

BBA is a professional course. Therefore, students can easily get placed through a college placement program.

After pursuing BBA, one can find jobs in the following sectors:

  • Banks
  •  Marketing Organizations
  • Educational Institutes
  •  Business Consultancies
  • Multinational Companies
  •  Financial Organizations
  •  Export Companies

Specialize in Finance Domain

BBA graduates can pursue various courses in the Finance domain like Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, Certified Analyst Program (CCAP), Executive courses in Finance or a course in Risk Management. A degree in management and specialized knowledge of finance opens a lot of avenues for a prosperous career.

Pursue a Career in Law

BBA Graduates can also pursue an LLB course, which is regulated by the Bar Council of India. For admission to this course, candidates need to appear for the national law entrance exam i.e. CLAT [Combined Law Admission Test]. One can then work for corporate firms, or pick up any of the following professions – Legal Adviser, Legal Journalist, Government Lawyer, etc.

Work In The Government Sector

BBA Graduates can also sit for Government exams like IBPS, SBI, SSC, Bank PO or Indian Railways etc. Government organizations (Banks in particular) hire BBA graduates for entry-level positions. Government jobs offer many perks in the form of job security, medical and retirement benefits, etc.

Work in Foreign Embassies

Foreign embassies hire Graduates from the management field. After learning a foreign language, one can apply for jobs in the respective embassy. One can also sit for exams like TOEFL or IELTS and move abroad for further studies.

Start Own Venture/ Become an Entrepreneur​

BBA course exposes students to diverse areas of business-like marketing, finance, operations, logistics etc. A lot of focus is given to soft skills like leadership, team building, and communication. Therefore, BBA graduates can look at starting their own venture and become an entrepreneur.

Additional options

Hospitality or Hotel Management – One can opt for a PG Diploma or a Masters in Hotel Management and pursue a career in hospitality.

Tourism Management, Mass Communication, Business journalism, etc. are some other career choices that one can choose after pursuing a specialized diploma/ course in any of these fields. A graduate degree in management armed with specialized knowledge of any of these fields will help in making good use of both the courses.

Railways: One can sit for Railways Recruitment Board (RRB) exams for various posts.
