IPMAT 2020 Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria Details

Candidates should satisfy the following eligibility criteria for 5 year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) of IIM Indore

General and NC-OBC Category:

  • Minimum 60% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations
  • Maximum 20 years of age as on July 31, 2020

SC, ST and PwD Category

  • Minimum 55% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations
  • Maximum 22 years of age as on July 31, 2020

Important points on Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant should have been born on or after August 01, 1999 (5 years of relaxation to the candidates from SC/ST/PwD category will be given i.e. born on or after August 01, 1994)
  • Candidates who are likely to complete standard XII/ HSC or equivalent by the end of June 30, 2020 can also apply, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria
  • If selected, such candidates will be offered admission to the programme provisionally
  • At the time of registration for the programme, such candidate must have to produce X and XII standard mark sheet (securing minimum marks i.e. 60% for General and NC-OBC or 55% for SC, ST and PwD) along with school leaving certificate/migration certificate, failing which the candidate's provisional admission offer will stand cancelled
  • The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in X and XII Standard would be calculated based on the aggregate marks of all subjects that appear in the mark sheet/grade sheet, irrespective of the Board's regulation
  • In case the candidates are awarded letter grades or grades points instead of marks, the conversion of grades to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the Board/ Competent Authority explaining the method of conversion from where they have obtained the certificate
  • Applicants pursuing their X and/or XII standard from international schools affiliated to foreign board's like IGCSE (International General Certificate for Secondary Education) and IB (International Baccalaureate) can also apply

IPM Programme Fee

The course fee for resident Indians for the first three years of the IPM would be Rs.4,00,000 per annum (For 3 years it comes to Rs.12 lakhs). For Non-Resident Indians the first three years' course fee is Rs.6,00,000 per annum (Total fee for 3 years is Rs.18 lakhs)

The course fee for the fourth and fifth years would be as per prevailing Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) fees. The fee for 2 years PGP 2020-21 at IIM Indore is Rs 16,00,000. The course fee includes accommodation/lodging, access to lectures, computer facilities and library

Phases of IPM

IIM Indore IPM is broadly divided into two Phases:

  • First three years of the programme, and
  • Last two years

The first three years build a foundation, and the last two years focus on Business Management. In addition to Class work, IPM students are required to complete a social internship at the end of Year 3, and a business internship between Years 4 and 5. This experiential learning inculcates leadership qualities in them and hones their managerial skills further.

On successful completion of the five-year rigorous academic experience, the participants would be awarded ˜Integrated Diploma in Management' by IIM Indore. Subject to approvals, this diploma can be converted to award of degree as announced by IIM Indore. A Study Centre and an Examination Centre of Indira Gandhi National Open University have been opened at IIM Indore to facilitate the students to get a bachelor's degree.

With the passage of IIM Bill 2017, now IIM Indore will be able to offer a BBA and MBA Degree to a candidate, giving a further boost to the program

Admission Selection Process

The students undergo a rigorous selection process for getting into IIM Indore IPM:

Application: An application form aimed at understanding the students' proficiency in academics, as well as in co-curricular activities is filled up by the aspirant.

Entrance Exam IPMAT: An entrance examination follows, to test the applicant's aptitude, logical reasoning and proficiency in English and Mathematics.

IPM-AT 2020 Pattern: IPMAT 2020 will be an objective type computer based test.

Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates appear for personal interviews. The interview judges the students' level of confidence, communication skills, general awareness, persuasion skills and knowledge.

Final Admission: Best 120 candidates are granted admission to this prestigious course.

 

NPAT 2020

NMIMS Mumbai will conduct NPAT 2020 on May 11 & 12, 2020 for admission to BBA, BBA+MBA Integrated programme at Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce (ASMSOC), NMIMS Mumbai. The application process will close on April 29.

NMIMS-NPAT 2020 is the Admission test for NMIMS Programs After class 12 and is the official entrance test for admissions to Undergraduate and Integrated Degree Programs commencing academic session 2020-21. The programmes are offered by constituent schools of SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (Deemed to be University) at Mumbai, Shirpur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Navi Mumbai, Indore & Dhule Campuses.

Eligibility

  • A candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination and must have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate marks for admission to BBA/B.Sc. Finance & B.Com (Hons) with Mathematics / Statistics at their 10+2 or equivalent examination in one or the first attempt
    • A candidate who has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from IB Board should be either IB certificate or DP awarded with 24 credits having passed 3 HL (12 credits) & 3 SL (9 credits) mandatorily from any stream
    • Candidates of CBSE, ICSE, should mention in the online registration / e-admission form (if selected) 10+2 or equivalent aggregate marks of all the subjects for which the candidate has taken & appeared for (not best of four, five, six or seven)
    • The candidate should have passed all the subjects taken & appeared for in the applicable examination/s
    • The aggregate percentage of all subjects for which the candidate has taken & appeared will be taken into consideration for confirming eligibility of the candidate for the program at the time of admission
    • In case, mark sheet issued by the applicable Board / Institution is in percentile/s, the actual aggregate percentage of all the subjects appeared by the candidate will be taken into consideration
    • Candidates above 25 years of age are not eligible to apply
    • For IB & Cambridge Candidate: Candidates who are called for admission on the basis of merit list & if they do not have their 10+2 or equivalent examination mark sheets, will be given Provisional Admission based on predicted scores. Fees will be accepted from such candidate but their admission will be confirmed only after the submission of the final mark sheet before the commencement of the program if found eligible
    • Class 12 Marksheet/Transcripts issued by Board/University only be considered (School/Institute will not be accepted)
    • Submission of AIU equivalence certificate to confirm the eligibility for the program is mandatory for those candidates who have completed their (10+2) examination from Overseas Universities
    • Those candidates who have passed, or, are appearing for 10+2 examination from a Board/University where Grade Point Average is given, must produce in writing from the Board/University concerned, the equivalent percentage for the GPA /CGPA obtained
    • Candidate whose final mark sheet is not available at the time of admission is required to submit internet copy of result duly attested by Principal of the school / college, failing which candidate will not be admitted for the program
    • Only single mark sheet with all compulsory subjects taken and passed in only one and the first attempt is mandatory, no compartmentalized mark sheet will be considered
    • Candidate will not be eligible if any subject is marked as ungraded/fail in marksheet/grade sheet. For absent/ungraded in any of the additional/non mandatory subject will be considered as eligible provided such candidate is declared as pass by respective board
    • Candidates appearing for their final 10+2 or equivalent examination can also apply provided they must obtain the required minimum cut off marks and also produce the entire necessary Documents, in original, within the given stipulated time

Pattern

  • NPAT 2020 is an objective type exam which aims to check your English, Quantitative and Logical reasoning skills. The exam difficulty level is moderate. With a preparation of 2 months, you can score well in this exam.

    There will be no descriptive type of questions for both Engineering and Non Engineering. Test for Engineering is different than Non Engineering.
    Based on the past exam papers, NPAT 2020 exam pattern is to be on following lines:

    • Exam shall have 3 sections
    • Each section will have 40 questions
    • Total number of questions shall be 120. All questions shall be multiple-choice questions
    • Total duration of the exam is 100 minutes
    • Each question carries equal marks
    • Incorrect answers carry negative marking of 1/4th marks
    • No time limit for sections is stipulated. Candidate can switch between sections also

The NPAT Admit card is your passport to NPAT 2020 exam and is very important document for taking the test. Candidate without NPAT admit card, or necessary documents shall not be permitted to appear for the test

Aspirants who wish to seek admission in the undergraduate management programmes offered at SIU must fill the SET BBA 2020 application form and pay the application fee by April 15, 2020.     Symbiosis International (Deemed University), the conducting body of the test has provided the following guidelines to be followed during the SET BBA 2020 registration process

    • From this year (2020) onwards, SET - Law test will be known as Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT), SET-Design test as Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED), SET Engineering as SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SITEEE). SET-General will continue as SET. Candidates should carefully choose the option while filling up the application form of SET BBA 2020
    • Please note- Any modification in the online SET BBA application form (except test city preferences and admission category) will be entertained only up to the closing date of application. No further changes will be entertained after the deadlines. No change of test city requests will be entertained once candidates have completed their Online SET BBA 2020 registration
    • Candidates may appear in more than one paper. However, they will have to choose and register for one paper from the morning session (SLAT/SEED) and/or one paper from the afternoon session (SET/SITEEE). Selection Procedure

Once SET BBA 2020 results and cutoff is announced, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their scores and institute specific SET BBA cut off. Personal Interaction (PI) An expert panel from Industries / Academics will interview the shortlisted candidates. The interview might have questions pertaining to topics like communication skills, general awareness, co-curricular activities, and specific field of interest.

Written Ability Test (WAT) - Shortlisted candidates have to appear for a written test which includes one PAT (Picture Association Test) and an essay on a given topic.

Although the selection process remains mostly the same for all the affiliated institutes, it might be a bit different in some of the institutes. Only those candidates who receive the SET BBA 2020 call letters will be allowed to appear for selection rounds. Their candidature will undergo screening for the final selection pertaining to admissions on the basis of their performance in SET BBA Selection Procedure.

  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall without GGSIPU CET BBA 2020 admit card under any circumstances
  • Candidates need to report to the allotted exam centre 30 minutes before the commencement of GGSIPU CET BBA 2020 exam. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam centre after the commencement of the exam. The timing of the exam would be 10:30 AM 1:00 PM

Step 1: Registration First, candidates need to register by paying the fee and entering details in the counselling registration window to participate in the GGSIPU CET BBA counselling 2020.

Step 3: Documents verification The following documents are required at this stage:
1. Registration slip (will be provided by Admission officer at the counselling venue)
2. GGSIPU CET BBA 2020 Admit Card
3. Original mark sheets of Class 10th onwards (attested by gazetted officers or self)
4. Documentary evidence in case the candidates have pursued education through Distance/Open Learning methods
5. Conduct and Character certificate in original from the Head of the Institution from where he/she has passed the highest qualification examination or from gazette officer which should not be older than 6 months
6. In case qualification exam result is awaited, the candidates have to submit the undertaking
Step 4: Actual GGSIPU CET BBA Counselling/Seat Allotment Process 1. First, you will be called in order of merit/rank for all programmes. You would need to produce the required documents for verification. Depending upon the merit, the seats will be offered as per availability of seat at that point of time. You will have to choose from/out of those available when your turn comes.
2. Admission Officer will give you a signed Admission Slip after the deposition of the fee (as required for the programme at the time of counselling) by the candidate. You must not leave the GGSIPU CET BBA 2020 counselling venue without receiving the Admission Slip. You must check details printed on the admission slip.
3. If you fail to appear in person on the notified venue, date and time for counselling, your claim for the seat will be fortified.
4. If you are allotted with a seat you are required to pay notified fee immediately on the spot at the time of GGSIPU CET BBA 2020 counselling/admission.
5. The students admitted in first counselling would not be allowed to change the programme/institute during the subsequent days of first counselling. However, they may change the programme/ institute during second counselling after depositing an additional sum of Rs. 5,000 in the form of a fresh Demand Draft in favour of Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University payable at Delhi
