


MAT - Introduction
- Management aptitude test (MAT) conducted by AIMA is a standardized test being administered since 1988 to facilitate business schools to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programs .
- It was approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development in 2003.
- Aspirants can choose to take either a paper based or a computer-based test.
- There are 600+ participating B schools who use MAT score.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduates from any stream from a recognized institute or university are eligible to apply
- Final year graduates from any discipline from a recognized institute or university are eligible to apply
- Reservation for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other backward classes is provided as per the criteria of participating institutes
- A candidate can apply for the exam as many times as she/he wants
